Mortality by dragongirlhellfire Mortality by dragongirlhellfire
This has been in preparation for for a few weeks. Pretty sure my family is glad I'm finished it, since it means I'll stop stealing the use by dates off everything. Though I'm not sure what they think of the finished product. My brother thinks the whole concept is just super depressing, when I told him my plans.

Anyway, expiration dates, metaphors, lalalala. :la:

I'm quite pleased with this, really. I like this idea.

This is quite clever. it's funny to imagine the expiration labels suddenly disappearing off everything in the house.

i like the infinite symbol worked into it, maybe to show that life and death is an endless cycle?

Yes :)
But also because he is immortal, where all the lives around him have 'expiry dates'...

This is genius.

The way the head is slightly at an angle, makes it look as though he's sad. To me anyway lol

Any reason for the colourful dates being at the bottom?

Other than aesthetics, no, not really! :D
I was trying to get a relatively gradual transition from brighter, darker colours at the bottom to paler ones at the top.

It's cool, the top half looks like a cloudy sky in a way :)
