You know I actually don't know how wrong it is for Emily to be Googling that stuff. I fluctuate wildly between 'OMG EMILY ARE YOU A TERRIBLE PERSON OR WHAT' (so much so that I almost wanted to not put this chapter in) and 'eh it's no big deal, why would it be a big deal, they're not of him specifically and they're not even that bad'. (It's not like she's looking with safesearch off or anything. But actually there are some pretty... um, risque ones, even then.) I don't have consistency in my own thoughts!! I suppose I'll have to judge from your reactions?????

But it's probably a bad idea to look up sexy pictures of your friends whether that act is heinous or just kind of weird. Don't do it, kiddies.

I do think Dee is letting her off too easily, I'm pretty sure. And the fact that something is on the internet DOES NOT MAKE IT OK TO LOOK IT UP. But he's too tolerant. That's the thing about Dee. It'd be a fault if being a doormat wasn't the only way he can cope with a lot of stuff. And he's not always a doormat anyway, it depends on the situation. Like if he doesn't want to talk about something then he is ridiculously stubborn. That is another of his problems actually.

Also, you know ghosts? Does it bother anybody else when they have the same constraints as live humans (ie not being able to fly, not being able to fall through the floor) with the exception of walls and objects, which they are able to walk through? I'm mainly thinking of that movie 'Just Like Heaven' right now. I don't know why she doesn't fall through the floor all the time if she falls when she walks out the wall of the apartment, it seems super arbitrary to me.
ANYWAY it's not like that for Dee, obviously.

Hahahaha I'm totally going to end every page in this chapter with Dee sinking into the floor due to embarrassment

Hmm, how is Dee tangible enough to close the laptop but intangible enough to be mostly in the ground?

He can have different levels of tangibility/solidity/whatever in different parts of his body, so basically his hand is the only 'solid' thing there, and everything else is intangible. :D
I am not sure whether or not to mention in the comic that he can do this... hmmm
